  1. As a California native, home to Trader Joe's for many years, I don't get the love for
TJ's. Fresh Market here is much better. TJ's is cheaper, but so are most of the products.
TJ's, seems to me, is the Food Lion of gourmet groceries.

I see it as an apples to oranges equation...both offer different pluses for grocery options.

Either way, I posted as a heads up for those who are interested. The store is about 6 months behind their initial planned opening, so the "when" has been of interest to many of us in Raleigh!

    2. Do you know an exact address for the store? We often go to the Cary location when we visit Raleigh, and will be in town next weekend - so I'd love to go to the new store and not have to drive to Cary anymore!

It is located on Wake Forest Road, just south of the I-440 Beltline, in the Holly Park Shopping Center.

There is a traffic light at the entrance to the shopping center. If you are headed south off the beltline, it will be the first thing on your left.

Great, thanks! I'll be stopping there next weekend! Wish they'd open up in our end of the state - at least in Jacksonville!

      2. I went this past Sunday. It is still crowded, but the staff is well trained and the cashiers keep the lines moving quickly. The layout is has slightly wider aisles than the Cary location, so it doesn't get quite so jammed. The parking lot is a bit crazy and disjointed.

I am really going to enjoy having this so handy!
