Asian dining in Torrance/Gardena/Lomita?

My wife is away for the evening, so I've got free reign to try an interesting restaurant tonight that she would normally not be interested in. I know that there are lots of Asian restaurants in the area, but I've got no idea what's good.

Any suggestions? I love sushi and soba, but I'd like to try something a little different. Maybe Korean BBQ, or a different kind of Japanese place?

    Musha - itzakaya-ish food
    Kotohira - fresh made udon
    Ichimiann Bamboo Garden (two locations) - great handmade soba, if you haven't been there already

      Kotosh at Kamiyama in Lomita is a Peruvian-Japanese place with excellent sushi as well.

      Il Chianti also in Lomita is a Japanese-Italian place with unusual pasta dishes.

      We also like Shisen Ramen (in Torrance) with their semi-spicy broth and excellent (albeit tiny) gyoza.
