Aureole pre-theater

Friends of mine are coming in from Toronto in Nov and we'll be going to God of Carnage together. I've made a reservation at Aureole and wanted to know if anyone has tried their pre-theater menu. I was choosing between Gordon Ramsay at the London, DB Bistro (which I've been to a couple of years ago). I recently noticed The Modern is also a possibility but a little farther away from the theater.

Suggestions? Is Aureole doing better than their shaky start in the summer?

    1. I highly recommend Gordon Ramsay.

        1. We ate in the Aureole bar room last night before seeing Next to Normal (which I HIGHLY recommend -- how can you go wrong with a musical about depression and mental illness?). The food was decent (I enjoyed the burger) and the service well meaning, but the food was VERY slow coming out of the kitchen, and every time a tray of food did come out, the staff looked confused and disorganized trying to figure out where it went. We got out in time for our 8:00 show, but only because we sat down at 6:00.
