I am looking for somewhere to go with my husband and two small children for a quiet Thanksgiving meal. Ideally somewhere we could combine with a walk in the woods. We will be driving from NYC. Thanks.

Definitely check out Crystal Springs Resort in Sussex County, NJ they have a wide array of options depending on what you are looking for: buffet, gourmet, prix fixe, etc. There are also a ton of hiking trails nearby as well! I hope you find what you are looking for and have a great thanksgiving! I have been to all of therestaurants here as I live local and they are spot on! http://www.crystalgolfresort.com/DiningWine/Thanksgiving.aspx
