Planning a trip to New York next year for Fashion Week ... would love any tips from in-the-know foodies and native New Yorkers on the best dining experiences in town please! Also does anyone have any info on a unique cooking class in NYC? Thank you!

Agree - I recommend the sushi one - great experience and for the amount we consumed, cheaper than a dinner out!

My wife has taken classes at Rustico (Italian cuisine) and enjoyed them very much; the recipes she brought home were terrific, and she thought the instructor, Micol Negrin, was excellent.

I like The Social Table. Very cozy and informal and enthusiastic instructor. BYOB.
