Hello all,

I'm looking for what you all think is the best honey cake around for someone special.

She's talked about a honey cake with many layers that she had back in Russia.

I imagine it's something like this...hopefully (I chose right version)

Since I'm unable to bake, I'm looking to buy one for her upcoming birthday. Looking for any place relatively accessible by public transportation.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

International Foods store on Brighton Avenue sells this cake (in their cafe on the 2nd floor) but it may be diffrerent from what your friend had in Russia, since there are many different versions of it. It's pretty good and you can have a piece at the cafe and get it if it's to your liking.
