Please share your recipes for cocktails that feature apple cider as an ingredient.

Love a good dark rum: Goslings, Meyers, Lemon Hart Demerara mixed with cider. Serve cold or warm, YUM.

I have been mixing Candy Apples lately for myself and my wife:

Candy Apple
1-2 oz amaretto (I prefer 1 oz)
1-2 oz butterscotch schnapps (I prefer 2 oz)
fill with apple cider

I like a little more of the butterscotch to give it a more caramel-type flavor, but tweak the ingredients until you find a combination you enjoy. You can also eliminate the amaretto altogether, but I think it is a good addition to the drink.

Mix in a tall glass with ice and watch the leaves turn colors!
