Restaurant Names not being listed because of new interface [split from DC]

There's a conceptual problem in the forum software

"this is a review of a specific restaurant" and the pop up that follows - implies that the restaurant you type in will appear in your post. The restaurant names doesn't, and that should be obvious to the Chowhound team.

This is a recurring problem. I discussed it with our product manager this morning, and they'll look into clarifying that in the interface.

There must be a problem with the links. I just tried to post a link for Oceanaire on a seafood restaurant thread; strangely, the name of the restaurant appeared, but did not display.

I tried to enter Clarence's Taste of New Orleans as a "specific restaurant" and it kept insisting on Morrison Clark Restaurant. Not even close. That feature is either a bug or needs some instructions.

Mike, I got the same thing the first time I tried, then the correct restaurant name appeared, but didn't post I posted about the problem here: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/653458 You may want to add your comments too.

And if it isn't in their saved ones (neither American Flatbread nor Dogfish were) then they don't go up on the side either.
