Ladies Night Out

Ok, Foodies here is the situation. . . .

I am a total foodie who loves good food of all kinds. I am partial to the whole local organic thing. I will not eat at any chain restaurant.

I would like to throw a Bachelorette Party for my sister before she gets married. She just threw me a curve ball----she is pregnant. I would like to take her and her friends to a fun, hip restaurant that the youngsters will feel like they have had a great "night out," but that my sister can relax and not feel too weird about not drinking. Suggestions?

Ethnic is fine, but most of these ladies are small town midwesterners and too much "fancy" food will put them off.

Thanks for the help! It has been 6 years since I lived in Chicago and I am definitely out of the loop. (pun intended :))

Just from the "girls night out perspective" I'd say Carnivale. Gives the farm girls a big city experience without taking them too far out of their comfort zone. And, although I sometimes take it for granted, the food is very good.
