Thanksgiving to go dinners
I need to know what is the best bet for a pre-cooked thanksgiving dinner to go. I've seen many ads but there is no way to tell the quality and taste of the food by price. I need some recommendations? Price is not a problem. We live in the SGV. Thanks in advance.

Hi Neta! For the past couple of years, we've been getting a prepared turkey dinner from Fu Shing in Pasadena. While it's not "the best," it always gets devoured. The dinner comes with sticky rice, vegetables, and lots of gravy. Pour one container of gravy over the bird and reheat for 30 minutes. Enjoy!

Don't know if it's too far, but Auntie Em's Kitchen.

I had Von's. I wasn't impressed--also surprised the turkey still needed to complete its cooking time. (I mention this, in case you are not near a functioning kitchen.)
Friends of ours have picked up Gelsons and enjoyed it. I've heard very good things about Mimi's Cafe, over in Eagle Rock--but their pick up times were fairly rigid, especially when compared to those of a grocery store.

Two places I would suggest you consider in SGV:
Elements Kitchen http://www.elementskitchen.com/index.htm
