Schladerer Himbeergeist, What to do with it?

I have a few nice bottles of this (raspberry spirit) and am not sure what to do with it. I tried just sipping it, but really don't care for it plain. I tried it in place of raspberry liqueur in a drink recipe and - not stellar either! Everything on the bottles are in German, including the insert so that is not helpful.

Anyone with experience with this spirit?
All ideas welcome.

    1. I enjoy sipping it chilled out of a schnapps glass, but since you don't care for it plain here are some other suggestions:

      Mixed with champagne
Mixed into whipped cream and served on top of fresh rasberries
Mixed with fresh rasberries and some sugar and served on top of a dark chocolate desert

You might have more luck searching for recipes that use framboise eau de vie since the french name is more common.

Thanks for the great ideas joshekg!

          • Try it like a Tom Collins! Very refreshing.
I agree that it is an excellent sipping drink - as long as it is poured into a frosted glass.
