Family friendly Saturday night dinner for Picky Eaters

Hi,

My family's coming to visit this weekend, and I'm at a bit of a loss as to where we should go to dinner on Saturday night. It's three adults and one very picky 13 yr old boy, who would probably be very happy eating at an Americanized TGIFriday's. Being a big fan of sushi and ethnic food, I'm having a hard time coming up with a place to take them. Somewhere Italian, American, or Chinese would be good. (Salads, pastas, steaks, sandwiches, ect.)

They want the whole "New York" experience (aka something you could only find here-- a little fun and trendy), with entrees preferably under or around $25, but also somewhere that's appropriate for familes. Just some examples of things they've enjoyed in the past were Max Brenner, Becco, Heartland Brewery, and Mesa Grill. Any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Freemans will probably have a long wait on a Saturday night for four people.

I think Shun Lee might be too pricey.

Otto is a good call, though. NB: the pizza is grilled, so not really traditional.

Thanks so much! I'll have to look into those. I've been to Otto myself, so that could be a good one.

How about the new Motorino location in the early village? The pizza is great. And you can walk to somewhere like Chikalicious Dessert Club afterwards.
