I also have a recipe that calls for Sherry Vinegar. Wehere can I find this in the Detroit area?

I've found this at Nino Salvaggio's. I'm sure most of the gourmet grocery stores carry it, Papa Joe's, Whole Foods, Hollywood Market, etc.

        Holiday Market as well

Detroit a big place--mark, can you narrow it down a bit?

If not in the near future, check out gangofpour.com. Our friend makes vinegar and is being quite successful -- not a big deal. You can buy, but it might be easy to make yourself, too. Sherry and time = vinegar.

Good vinegar bottles available at R. Hirt Jr.

The "I Love My Mother" story made me start making my own vinegar. Malt vinegars are next...I wanna find out what happens when you use a good Belgian brew. :)
