ISo "Brownulated" sugar

A friend of mine loves baking with brown granulated sugar, "brownulated" sugar but I can't find it in LA.(My friend iives in New York) Has anyone seen it available in Los Angeles? And if I buy it through the Domino website, will I be wasting my money? Is it as good in cookies as regular brown sugar?

Thanks!
Miri

Having used it years ago (when I lived in NY) I found it's convenient, not better. It replaces Light Brown Sugar for those who don't use it often and haven't figured out how to keep regular brown sugar from turning into a brick. I'd think the shipping charges for a heavy product like sugar would make the cost per pound ridiculously high.

Anyway, if you do find it and use it, keep this comment from Cook's Illustrated in mind:
"It turns out that 1 cup of Brownulated sugar weighs just 5 ounces, whereas 1 cup of packed regular brown sugar weighs 7 ounces. Once we used equal amounts of the sugars by weight, the cookies were similar. Use this equivalency to determine how much Brownulated sugar is needed in any given recipe."
