The Great St-Ambroise Pumpkin Ale...
...where have you been all my life?
Noticed it for the first time today and grabbed a pack. The seasonal ale a "savvy blend of pale and caramel malt, hops and spices", is just an explosion of fall comfort. Brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove, it's pumpkin pie-beer, and every bit as awesome as that sounds.
Anybody try it?

It's been around for many years. Dunno about the current iteration but it used to be brewed under licence to the US microbrewery that developed the recipe (Pete's Wicked Ale? Can't recall but the name was printed on the label). A lifelong pumpkin pie hater, I actually find it drinkable, which is saying something. But, as with their other flavoured seasonal beers, I'd never choose it over their world-class Extra Pale Ale or Oatmeal Stout.
