Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in the SF Bay Area (including Berkeley, Oakland, Napa, Sonoma, Marin, and San Jose)

need a spot for work party

We are a group of about 100 medical personnel, looking for a space for our holiday party in San Francisco, where we can access a bar, have finger foods served, and maybe dance to a DJ..not too expensive, not too shabby...any suggestions?

    DH went to colleague's engagement party held at a bar/restaurant in SOMA area, not far from water. Sounds like what you are looking for but unfortunately can't recall name. Perhaps someone else will chime in.

    1. My coworker had her wedding reception at TWO in September. She had passed hors d'oeuvres, a sit down dinner, and a DJ/dancing. Everything was wonderful.

      1. La Mar might work in terms of bar + small plates. Probably not for the DJ. For large groups they offer the patio.
