I'd love the names of some great Chines restaurants, that not only have great food but a nice atmosphere. So often the atmosphere really detracts from the dining experience even if the food is good.

Living in South Florida, it's hard to get great Asian food. New York is known to have some of the best, so I'm expecting just that!

you are speaking of Mulan at Queens Crossing? I had a fancy, overpriced and not-worth-it meal there before.

ferrett1; any constraints to your visit? manhattan? queens? plenty of good recs if you search specifically like, great cantonese in chinatown, etc.
