My aunt and uncle are coming in from London, and we are going out with them the night of their arrival. We are looking for a newish (opened within the past year) place with good food that is informal.
You might enjoy Bar Bao (Vietnamese) or Salumeria Rossi. I went to Fatty Crab on Saturday for the first time and, while I'm glad I tried it, I'm in no rush to run back.
I enjoyed Bar Bao and Salumeria Rossi. Also, West Branch is good and informal. Gus and Gabriel's also.
Ditto on Bar Bao - and if you go, do try the daikon duck hash.
