Does anybody have a list of the best restrants to go to if you would like to avoid famed fish.Specifically, I’m interested in wild salmon the availably of which I know is seasonal.

Try Wild Edibles in Murray Hill. I don't think all their offerings are wild-caught, but many are. The staff will be able to tell you which is which.

I read this OP last night and so much ran through my mind, I should have just responded then.

Yes, if we put our heads together we can think of it. Something about fish fetishists.

            A net?

But seriously, most of the decent seafood restaurants in Manhattan serve wild fish. Look, wild salmon is on Le Bernardin's menu right now!

              Or fishticuffs?

True what you say about most decent seafood restaurants serving wild-caught fish.
