Does anybody have a list of the best restrants to go to if you would like to avoid famed fish.Specifically, I’m interested in wild salmon the availably of which I know is seasonal.

I read this OP last night and so much ran through my mind, I should have just responded then.
Try Wild Edibles in Murray Hill. I don't think all their offerings are wild-caught, but many are. The staff will be able to tell you which is which.
