        <content>Next week for two of our family dinners, I'm making seafood pasta alfredo and Pacific Rim flank steak. What sides should I serve with them? thanks!</content>

      <content>For the steak I would do a snow pea and carrot salad tossed in a sesame ginger soy dressing or maybe some steamed baby bok choy.  For the Alfredo.......I would do a broccoli rabe or swiss chard side dish.</content>

      <content>Steamed Lemon Broccoli w/toasted sesame seeds &amp; Gingered rice pilaf with the Flank.

Mixed iceberg &amp; baby romaine salad w/sliced heirloom tomatoes, basil &amp; red onions, tossed in a light italian vinagrette and some good ciabatta or large Italian loaf garlic bread with the seafood alfredo.</content>

      <content>I don't think the pasta needs a "side dish" other than perhaps a nice salad.

I'm not familiar with that flank steak recipe specifically, but assume that it would go well with some steamed rice and perhaps a simple vegetable stir fry to keep some Asian-flavors.

      <content>the seafood pasta would just be with salad, maybe bread here (we love our carbs).  For the steak, I'd do green beans very quickly sauteed with garlic &amp; lemon, along with rice.</content>
