La Truffe Sauvage in Lake Charles? anyone?

Wondering if anyone can talk about a meal at La Truffe Sauvage in Lake Charles. Is this the most interesting/best restaurant in town? Is it "modern LA"?

I don't know what "modern LA" is, but we loved the restaurant. It has been since 2005 (right during and after Katrina) so it may have changed, but we enjoyed it. After exhaustive research, we found it was the only "nice" restaurant in Lake Charles. Don't get me wrong=there are loads of restaurants there with outstanding food, but not many places with the quality of atmosphere, wine and service.
