Naples/Estero Area - Christmas Day

Lynn G Oct 11, 2009 06:34 PM

Is anyone aware of some restaurants that are open on Christmas Day? I just bought a home in Bonita Springs and will be spending the holiday there with my family. We'd love seafood, but are open to any type of restaurant with interesting food. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The big resorts will have dinners on Christmas. Probably not much else. The two Ritz Carltons have huge buffet dinners that are very well done but ultra expensive unless you love to pig out.

I had a wonderful Christmas dinner at Baleen (at LaPlaya resort) one year but it wasn't very festive with decorations and such. We were one of the few people celebrating Christmas eating there that day.

It was lovely however and we sat on the terrace over looking the beach. They do seafood very well.

I've heard great reviews of the Turtle Club in North Naples also right on the water. Not sure if they are open Christmas Day, though.

I just joined so I'm sorry for the late recommendation, but for the future, PATE'S is the place! We went there last christmas, and had a wonderful experience! They have the best Prime Rib in town! You do have to make reservations though.
Hope you had a wonderful time!
        Happy New Year!
