where can i buy italian chestnuts?

I've found that the smaller italian chestnuts are easier and faster to roast in a toaster oven, and much easier to peel as they roast evenly. making that toasted outside (vendor like) texture achievable at home.

Does anyone know where they sell these smaller chestnuts?

Di Palo's on Grand Street has the AAAA Italian chestnuts starting around the end of November...don't know the size but I think these Italian ones are the small ones. I just called them to see if they had any but he said they're long gone...I would imagine they sell out by Christmas but he didn't say specifically.
