Sandestin @ Thanksgiving ...

My bride and I will be vacationing @ the Sandestin (Hilton) for
ten (10) days surrounding Thanksgiving.

We would appreciate recommendations re: restaurants in the
area (both the T-day meal ... and otherwise).

Best place for a special dinner - Cafe Tango. They are small; you need a reservation. Creative, fresh, wonderful food!

Another breakfast option - Silver Sand Breakfast at Harbor Docks in Destin - we like it better than Donut Hole (and its a better value, too). Though the donuts at Donut Hole are excellent. Also, for breakfast or lunch - Fabrice.

If you search for old Destin, Miramar Beach and Santa Rosa Beach, you can find a fair amount of information on different places. And while it'll never be NYC, there really is a pretty diverse food scene for an area its size. Anything in particular you're looking for?

for the complete menu. Also like askdrtodd said, Finz Beachside Grille located on Beachside of the resort is a great choice! The Village of Baytowne Wharf also has lots of dining options. Hope you and your wife enjoy your trip!

Eat at Commander's Palace, Finz, Cafe Province, Another Broken Egg or the Donut Hole for breakfast, also check out McGuires, it's pretty cool. Most of the food there is good, just avoid the touristy places.
