Vinoteca Poscol in Houston - thoughts?

I've been living/working on the road, away from Houston (my home) for the past several months... I have read/heard about the newish Vinoteca Poscol at the old Cafe Montrose location and want to try it out for a "welcome home" gathering... Opinions? I want to try something new in Houston, other rec's are welcome too!

We stopped there for a late night snack a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed the sausages, a rich baked pasta dish, and a fabulous dessert of dates poached in a red wine reduction and served over mascarpone. It is crowded, noisy, casual, fun.
There were a couple of largish parties there when we were there, so I think they could handle a table of 16 or so. We enjoyed it and plan to go there again.

My first meal here was with a group of at least 12 serious foodies within a few weeks after they opened. EVERYTHING was wonderful, and Im looking for a new excuse to go again. I highly reccomend the risotto
