I was intrigued by the mention of a Nigerian place. Here's the details:

        FESTAC GRILL...
263 HENDRIX STREET, BETWEEN ATLANTIC & LIBERTY AVENUES, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
        TEL: 347-627-5151

This place is properly good. Dig up my ancient post on it for details. The walk from the subway is hilariously "interesting" if you do it after dark. I was actually laughing at how much noticeable the gang presence was.

Some insanely good peppa loaded goat stuff there though. And Guinness!

Coal Pot on Atlantic Ave and Alabama has great curry goat, jerk chicken and fried pork chops. Saratoga Country Kitchen on Atlantic Ave. and Saratoga has great soul food. Fish & Wings has delicious take-out. Especially their macs & cheese.

El Pulgarcito De America has good pupusas.
3133 Fulton St, under the Norwood Ave stop of the J/Z.
