La Tolteca in Towamencin shopping center
Anyone try it yet? They just opened I think and I have a coupon.

Can someone provide the location for this? Is it in Ralph's Corner? Or the Shopping center that has the Genuardi's in it? Thanks!

no idea where Towamencin (new to PA!), but if it's anything like the La Tolteca and La Tonalteca's all over Delaware, it's fantastic! Nothing fancy, just good food, great prices, pretty tasty margaritas. It's a chain in delaware, I just checked the website and didn't see anything about a location in Towamencin, but I don't think they have all of their locations listed for some reason.

re: phillyjazz
I suppose that if you are only trying to beat the standard of Taco Bell, Tolteca is a step up, but I find the food seriously lame by any normal standard. I used to work down the street from the Tolteca on 202 in Wilmington and was dragged there for lunch by co-workers for years, until I just couldn't take it anymore. The menu is basically a list of 40-50 items that are all various combinations and permutations of ground beef, shredded cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, chopped supermarket tomatoes, Sysco refried beans, and corn chips in various incarnations. (Yes, let's add shredded chicken in there also, and shredded beef if you really want to be adventurous.) You can get these ingredients in different shapes, piled in different layers, and so on.
If this is the sort of thing you like, then you will like it. It is not Mexican food.
