Specialty Beer Vendors in Worcester Area

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a beer vendor that doesn't just have a large beer departmet, but someone who really knows their stuff.

My husband is a huge lover of Flemish-style sours and I know nothing about them. I've found my local retailers (Yankee Spirits, KJ Baarons) don't really know much about sours.

Any help would be much appreciated!

P.S. Mods, please don't move this to Beer. I need local rec's.

I've been very pleased with the selection at Mass Liquors at 392 Chandler St. I don't know if they carry sour beers, but it's worth checking them out, since they have quite an eclectic mix of stuff. (They definitely have a better selection of bourbons than KJ Baaron's.)

You can always get opinions from Armsby Abbey, have a meal and go to Julio's.

AA is where he discovered his sour ale love. Unfortunately, they only carry three different sours (I believe). I can't imagine they're much in demand.

I'm definitely going to hit Julio's.

I live in RI and go to Shrewsbury on business every month or so and always stop at Julio's on route 9 as I like trying different beers. They have over 1000. The most I have ever seen in a store. I have never asked any questions so I don't know how helpful the staff would be for you. On there beer page there is a spot where you can ask a question.
