Roast Beef on Dripping Trenchers, Spit Roasted Kid, or a Very Special Piggie-- I need Feasting Menus: Are there any places around town that do larger cuts of meat for a group?

Ideally it would be something with good cocktails or at least decent wine (or reasonable corkage) but would be open to other suggestions.

A St. John's Feasting Menu would be ideal: https://www.stjohnrestaurant.com/feas...

Warning: Website is highly addictive. I have many fantasy meals at my computer.

I can't imagine places like Spago or Craft or ... wouldn't accomodate a St John's style piggy feast. In fact, I've had custom menus prepared at Spago, just call sufficiently in advance.

Ford's Filling Station does whole pig for small groups with enough notice

Palate does a very nice job with whole animals. Call in advance, of course.

And there's always the whole suckling pig at Lunasia.

Gulliver's in Irvine has the style, if not quite the feast. (The place is much better than their lame Web site: http://www.gulliversrestaurant.com/ ) Send them the St. John's menu, and toss down a challenge. If this works, mayhap a couple hundred of us can get together for a meal there after jousting in the parking lot.
