Restaurant for Monday night dinner near the Seaport`
I'm meeting family Monday night for a nice dinner as they pass through town - they'll be staying at the Seaport Hotel, One Seaport Lane on Monday night.
Any recommendations for where we should eat? Price isn't really an issue at all but location is; there preference is to stay close to the hotel. I've already been to Sensing so I'd like to skip that if possible.
I eat at LTK occasionally. I know it has mixed reviews here, but the night before last, I had their Asian Salmon with vegetable Pad Thai. It was the best, freshest salmon I've had in a long time. The have fresh hot french rolls with a gabanzo bean dip and the fruit mojitos are really good. It's a varied menu. I've found the fish/seafood dishes to always be good. Dishes like steak tips are acceptable but better elsewhere. It's 1 1/2 blocks from the hotel. I've also eaten at Aura which is right in the hotel. It's very good and has a varied menu. For either place, you might want to make reservations. We walked into LTK and only had to wait 5-10 minutes, and seeing that you're going on a Mon. night, it probably won't be too crowded at either place depending on if there are any conventions in town. A 3rd option is Salvatores. It's in the same block as LTK. I've never eaten there, but have heard it's average red sauce Italian.

Salvatore's is a nice restaurant. Italian food with a nice ambiance, although the dining area is a bit small. Morton's Steakhouse is also right in the area.

Sportello, the newest Italian venture from Barbara Lynch, is just a few blocks away on Congress Street.
For a more low key dinner-Lucky's Lounge is on the corner of Congress and A and does a solid job on American fare
