60th Birthday Help - Group of 11
Help Needed! We have a crowd of 11 to celebrate a 60th birthday next Sunday night. We are pretty flexible in terms of type of food -- at this point, we are thinking of the Capital Grille in Burlington because we can't think of anywhere else. It does not have to be fancy but needs to accept a reservation for our group.
Any location north of Boston (Somerville/Medford area up to North Reading area) works for us. I know this is a broad request but we are struggling to come up with a place that is a nicer than a 99 but not overly formal. I'm not from the area so I haven't had much luck so far.
Thank you!

I actually think it's a narrow request--you're not going to find a ton of nicer restaurants that can accommodate that many people in the given area. If you broaden your search to Boston you will have many, many more options.
What's your desired price point?

re: MenuPorn
I wish we could do something in Boston or Cambridge...it seems so much easier! We have a few people coming from southern NH, a few from Somerville and others from northern suburbs. We are hoping to avoid having everyone come all the way into Boston.
No one in the group drinks so splurging on food is ok. Prices in the $50-75 dollar range would (hopefully) be the highest.

re: phonelady
I organized a birthday dinner for my sister last year at L'Andana for about ten people and they were really accomodating. The food was delicious although there were two mix-ups on how the steak should be cooked, and unfortunately one of those steaks was for the birthday girl. But the service was really nice about making up for it. If you are interested, I would make a reservation as soon as possible.
Another place that I enjoy, although it is a chain is Papa Razzi in Burlington. I love their chicken parm and they always are great about big groups.
Good luck!
