Any preview on Edition Koji Shimomura, Tomura, Okahan, Torizenseo
On my upcoming trip to Tokyo, I will visit for the first time following restaurants. I don't think they have ever been reviewed on Chowhound before. Wonder if anyone can provide a preview of the place if they had been there before.
French: Edition Koji Shimomura at Roppongi;
Kyoto style cuisine: Tomura at Toranomon;
Sukiyaki: Okahan at Ginza;
Yakitori: Torizenseo at Azabujuban.
You're welcome - I hope it lives up to my build-up - let us know. What set them apart for me was the service - once I asked the waiter a question about the food, he was enthusiastic about explaining the ingredients and cooking methods, without going overboard. (This was all in Japanese, but I'm guessing they can handle English also.)
