Recipe for pulled pork?

I just had the Niman Ranch pulled pork and it was amazing. The pork was tender and juicy as opposed to stringy. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to achieve this effect? The ingredients say the pork involves sea salt and water as well, so I'm guessing some kind of brine is involved?

ETA: I looked at a couple more recipes online and wanted to add that I'm not up for a smoking method, but recommendations for recipes using either the oven or a crock pot would be great.

        Thanks. I had looked at a bunch of those, but it was unclear if the result would be similar to the NIman Ranch pork which was different than most pulled pork I have had or made in the past. I was hoping for some suggestions as to what may result in the different texture and might try a brine.

          You really don't need to "wet brine" a pork shoulder, or boston butt, as they are sometimes called. There is plenty of fat & sinew in them, that they self baste when cooked low & slow.

          Try going on Niman Ranch's website or email them and see if they have any recipes. It may be that they used a different cut, so that may be why it was brined, or a different texture. Also, the water & sea salt listed in ingredients could have been injected.

      2. Just rub it with kosher salt, brown sugar, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, some thyme & black pepper, put it in your crock pot. Add a couple of tbsp of cider vinegar. Cook on low for at least xis hours, even up to eight.

        When it's done, let it cool briefly. Discard any bones, gristle and fat. Shred the meat by pulling it. Add some fave bbq sauce. Can reheat in the oven or broil a little bit to crisp it up a tad. This is how I make it often.
