Langermanns...any info on him post-Georgia Browns?

There's a new restaurant opening in Canton (where Kiss Cafe used to be in the American Can Co on Boston Street). It's called Langermanns and a quick google search shows that Chef Neal Langermann is part of the group opening it.

The google search revealed some notoriety he received back in 2001 for his work at Georgia Brown's in DC and that later he was Executive Chef at Old Ebbitt Grill and then maybe at Clydes in Chevy Chase. It seems like an odd trajectory for a career. Any word on what his story is?

    1. I called today (1/4/2010) and they are open. I didn't ask when they opened, though. Has anyone been and what was the verdict?

        1. Soft-opening service commenced last week. It's a biiig place, they clearly have ambitions for volume. I haven't gone yet, but will soon.

The garage in the Can Company complex is available for public parking in the evenings (after 5, I think).

It's striking how parking's always an issue there, as it looks so easy. Always ends up complicated, space-stalking, a walk from past Starbux or complicated in the garage, and maybe one reason Atlantic, Kiss and Ray Lewis croaked. I was also reacting to the OP's sunny exhortation...!
