The Olive Oil Boutique (yonge and lawrence)

I walk by this place in the morning on way to work (closed) and on way home from work (closed). It looks interesting but I have yet to go inside. Occassionally in the evening they have a very large table set down the middle of the store set for a large party. What is this place about and any comments?

    1. Tried the minestrone soup and had a sandwich there... was good for a mid-afternoon snack!

        1. Slightly off topic but there's an olive oil store across from Williams-Sonoma in Sherway Gardens that has a really interesting selection. Twice now we've purchased some Turkish cold pressed olive oil from them that's absolutely fabulous, probably the fruitiest olive oil I've ever tasted.

            1. I purchased a soup and sandwich and found it really overpriced. The prices are not all listed so beware because $13.99 for a bowl of mediocre soup is ridiculous. The service also left something to be desired. I've never experience such pushy and aggressive service in a restaurant; the lady literally told me what I was ordering and then made my order before I consented. I will certainly avoid this place in the future.
