ISO: So Delicious Coconut Milk Yogurt
Wondering if this product is available in the GTA, specifically downtown (but also Oakville/Mississauga areas).
Looked for it over the weekend in both Whole Foods and Fiesta Farms. No luck, but the Fiesta dairy guy seemed interested since they already carry the So Delicious coconut milk ice cream products.
Would love to try it since lactose isn't my friend and I'm not really interested in soy yogurt products.
ask Whole Foods to look into it - the stores in the States carry it so they should be able to get it for you.

Sadly, due to Canadian regulations on the importation of fortified foods, it is not known if or when So Delicious coconut milk yogurt will be available in Canada.

Interesting.. do you know why we can get the ice cream here then? Is it made in a factory here instead of in the States?

The ice cream is made in the States, but it's not a fortified food product.

There also seem to be milk quota issues associated with importing dairy products.

Does this count for dairy product stand-ins that don't contain dairy?

Assuming your question is actually serious, of course not.

Sorry, in re-reading I realize it sounds either sarcastic or just kind of ridiculous, neither of which I intended. The So Delicious coconut milk yogurt and ice cream are non-dairy.

Wow, I would love to try the so delicious coconut milk. Has anyone found that product in Toronto?

The coconut milk ice cream is sold at the Healthy Butcher and Planet Organic stores. The ice cream is excellent. I've tried the coconut milk yogurt in the States and wasn't so keen on it. However, my wife loved it and asked Planet Organic about carrying it. Was told something about regulations as well and there was no follow-up. I does not sound like this product is available anywhere in Canada yet.

Fiesta Farms on the west end also has the ice cream. I think you can get their soy products at a lot of regular grocery stores as well.
SO disappointing about the yogurt though.

I bought the So Delicious coconut milk in Ottawa a month or so ago, so it must be available here. I get it at a health food store there (Herb and Spice). They have unsweetened and 'original', which is sweetened.

Fiesta Farms just started carrying the coconut milk beverages in original, unsweetened and vanilla.. But I was looking for the yogurt product which isn't available in Canada yet.

Oh, I didn't read your original post very carefully, I looked again today, and no luck either. I'm actually looking for the coffee creamer. Hopefully that turns up soon too.

Alright! I was just phoned by a lovely lady from the company and she listed off a bunch of locations.
Mississauga - Square Whole Foods (opening August/September)
Mississauga - Loblaws (Heartland) - organic section
Oakville - Organic Garage
Toronto (downtown) - Fiesta Farms
Enjoy, I know I will !

Ah! Thank you!

Is this a new development? Because previously Fiesta did not carry the coconut milk yogurt and I was told it is unavailable in Canada. They do sell the ice cream and the beverage though.
