ISO best popsicles in Los Angeles

Willing to travel, interested in water based ones as well as the more ice-creamy versions...

    1. Mexico has a history of freezing fruit based pops with either water or milk as a base. They are called paletas and offer the standard fuits-strawberries, watermelon, etc., but also offer interesting flavors--corn or cucumber as well as great combinations--think coconut dipped in chocolate or vanilla with walnuts. Many of the paletas have chunks of fruit in them as well. The state of Michoacan is especially known for paletas which means that in the greater Los Angeles area, a small army of shops/paleterias with names like Paletas Michoacan, Paleteria Michoacan or some other derivative thereof, have sprouted up. At times they are related but most of the time they are not. One that Ive been to:
