Looking for Berkshire Pork (Black Hog) Rockland/Bergen/Westchester

engarcon Oct 7, 2009 05:18 PM

CH...I took my wife to X20 for her B'day dinner and had the Berkshire Pork Chop which was amazing. Anyone know of a butchers or gourmet markets in the Westchester/Rockland/Bergen Counties where I can find it.

Thanks

Another great source is John Boy's Farm, he's in Pound Ridge and Muscoot Farms on Sunday, excellent Berkshire pork, pricey, but totally worth it. Here's a little info about him and an e-mail address, he sends out very witty newsletters twice a week:

I suggest that you call Crisfield's Prime Meat Market in Rye: 967-0152. Lobel's in NYC (Madison & 82nd) carries it if you're in that neck of the woods, plus they have an online store.
