Where to take the grad student for dinner?

I'm in town to visit my grad student. We want to try some restaurants that she might not.
Love all kinds of food especially with emphasis on fresh local ingredients. Hyde Park is her location but with a car we can go anywhere. Would love to know your personal favorites.

    1. Speaking as a graduate student, I would love it if someone would take me to Uchi or Justine's or Aquarelle or Hudson's or Wink.

              I would second Justine's. Also, we tried Olivia recently, and it was fantastic. Lots of local ingredients, and you can even see their garden. East Side Cafe would be another good pick for local fresh ingredients,and you can walk through their garden too!
