Creative take on Chinese, Teochew, Korean, Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai, and Indian, plus some purely Western (French-ish) dishes. Big small plates. I've only sampled a few things, and it's early yet, but it seems like a big improvement on Banq's food. Same cocktail menu (not a good thing, still loaded with sugary flavored-vodka junk) and wine list (okay), plus they've added a short list of sakes. I like how they opened up the space.

I agree - the space is more well lit. They opened up the space between the bar and the dining area, which provides a good view into the restaurant (and makes you feel less like you are in the belly of a whale.) I really gives the space a different feel. Based on other posters mentioned this strategy, I sort of expected that the bar would have access from all sides. This is not the case. On Friday, they had one bar tender and one bar waitress and it was very hard to get a drink. We thought we could grab a table in the bar area when some people left, but they waved us aside and put a "Reserved" sign on the table. I think that they were seating dinner reservations, not just drinkers at the reserved bar tables (but I'm not sure). Once we were seated, the tapas sized plates came out very quickly and service was great.
Four of us split many dishes and enjoyed them all. Most dishes were sized well enough to allow 4 people to have a bite. (don't remember details of all the dishes, but we enjoyed them all).
