Organics Delivered?

Has anyone got any experience with this service? They deliver a weekly/bi-weekly box of organic fruit and veggies. I got a flyer through my door and its looks interesting.

I'm on a two-box trial with Organics Delivered. Had my first one last week and it was great. I have been with Green Earth Organics until now. The cauliflower I got with OD was twice the size of the one I got with GEO and was amazing in the taste dept. So far, I think I'm switching for good!

Do most of these services stock boxes based on seasonal local produce? The ones I've found seem to be mostly the same stuff (apples, cabbage, lettuce, citrus) throughout all the seasons, with only one or two seasonal items.

We've been doing this sort of thing for well over a decade. First, with LETS, then Toronto Organics, WOW Boxes, and Wannigan. Lately, we've swung over to Front Door Organics who have been in the business a long time. Go to the FDO website to check out their massive categories and computerized and customized ordering.

It might be best to look around at a variety of these services, taking the trial offer, and see what's a good fit. For example, FDO delivers from Noon to 10PM.

We got our first box delivered last week and it was great. It seemed like a good value for the price and wide variety of food. (and no turnips, beets, parsnips!)
