Hey Guys,

I'm trying to find out where the best chicken noodle soup on the westside is. I've recently gotten sick and i'm really craving some hearty amazing chicken noodle soup.

Art's Deli on Ventura Blvd. in the Valley. Next best thing to Grandma's (from the old country herself).....

When I am sick, I muster the strenght to go to Gelson's where I buy a huge container of their Chicken Noodle Soup.
      It has never disappointed me.

In an attempt to be helpful I suggested making it yourself and gave the outline of how simple it is but was promptly booted off this post by the chowhound team. Langer's has decent chicken/matzo ball soup if youhave the will to go there without ordering pastrami.

I like the chicken noodle soup at Nate N Al's in Bev Hills. My second favorite is Tender Greens but they don't have it everyday, call ahead.

Call Junior's. Whenever I'm sick, my assistant calls them and they deliver a rather decent matzo ball soup. It's almost like having your mother there.

I remember it being absurdly expensive.

                    $8.95/quart. Neither absurd, nor expensive.

here are some responses from a similar query I posted last year. Maybe others will chime in with more suggestions.

I tried the Ranchero Consomme from Monte Alban last night for the first time and it was excellent. Has rice instead of noodles, which I actually prefered.
