Best Lunch Take-Out at Woodbine & Hwy 7 (Other than Chinese)

I work at Woodbine & Hwy 7 and am very familiar with all of the great chinese options in the area. However, it would be nice to have something different every once in a while. Anyone have suggestions of their favorites. I would like to pick something up and bring it back to the office.

At the 16th and Woodbine plaza, there is a pretty good Greek place called Loui's Kouzina. In the same plaza is All-Star wings if you feel like sloppy wings for lunch :)

Also, further south on Woodbine in the same plaza as Tase of Japan is Carmalina's which we love for Italian food!

Based on the quality of food and the price they are charging, I think Carmalina is over-priced.

There is an LCBO at that corner. You could get some olives from the Longos or Michelangelos and have yourself a proper business lunch!

The relatively new Indian Restaurant in the plaza next to Michaelangelos has very good curries. Love their Rogan Josh! IMO better than Bombay Bheel down the road.

Longo's has a decent lunch counter. Their veal sandwich is pretty good.

I enjoy the chicken fingers and fries at Prime Burger, the fries are thick cut, the burgers are okay too. I don't think the food is made from scratch at the restaurant but I still like it.

Down on Denison just past Vic Park there is Tastee's. I like the jerk pork or chicken.

The Michelangelos supermarket at the northeast corner of Woodbine and Hwy 7 has a very nice selection of sandwiches, salads, cut fruit and pastries. They also make a delicious personal size pizza at lunch, which they reheat in their wood-burning oven for you when you order it.

Why do they reheat pizzas when they have a wood burning oven. I used to work around Fortinos in Vaughan and they did great pizzas made to order and cooked in their wood burning oven. They used to also make sandwiches which they put in panini grills when you order it. If Michaelangelos did this I'm sure they'd get much better turnover.
