Need Help Finding Lidia Bastianich's Recipes!!

I was watching Lidia's Italy this weekend and she made a deliciouls looking Traditional Rice and Chicken. I cannot find the recipe anywhere online. Can anyone help????

Her new season has begun airing, and lidiasitaly.com has LOTS of recipes posted right now. You might want to grab the ones that sound good since she does take them down after the first season airing.

One method to also try is visiting your local library. They may have some of her books that you can borrow for FREE vs going out and buying them.

the recipe looks like an "easy" risotto. i wonder how much difference in consistency there is using this technique versus that for a risotto, with staged additions of hot liquid.

it is hard to beat the flavor and comfort factor of chicken and rice! the aromatics in the recipe would just enhance that even more. i'd better make this before the weather gets too warm outside (HA HA).

Wow, I can't thank you enough abqpatt. I usually DVR Lidia's show so I can copy the recipes I want by hand since they're very hard or impossible to find online. (They want you to buy the book.) Three of the recipes I didn't get a chance to copy are here on this site. Thank you again.

You might also try www.cookstr.com -- I know she has recipes there as well.

Lidia is not generous with her recipes. She maintains a few on her web site, but otherwise, you have to purchase one of the companion cookbooks. And if you do find something on her website that you want to try, print it. It might be gone the next time you go to look.
