What're your favorite pre & post dinner drinks? And your late night go-to choices?

Hi all - I'm looking for a new drink...and figured Chowhounds were the best place for recommendations!

I'd love to hear what your favorites are...mine are currently:
Pre-dinner: Dirty Martini (vodka, I know but I like it and I strongly dislike gin)
Dinner: Wine (usually red, but occasionally a white or rose)
Post-dinner: port, old fashioned, espresso martini
Late night: Guinness or vodka soda
Occasionally: Bloody Mary, Margaritas

What are your favorites? Or any you'd recommend I try (especially if your favorite flavors are similar)?

I only drink "dessert" in the colder months! In the fall I sometimes like a "white Russian" after diiner or later evening. I also just mix some Godiva chocolate liquer with some fat free half & half. Other times I mix up a variation of a "chocotini". In the dead of winter I like a "snow shoe" with peppermint schnapps, or a warm cognac or brandy.

I like a spicy bloody mary with brunch...anytime!

Pre: It varies with the weather...vodka gimlet, bourbon Manhattan

Post: B&B...always tastes great regardless of the weather!

Pre: G&T/V&T, Manhatten or martini depending on how much time/energy I have.
Whilst cooking: Whatever I just finished drinking.
Dinner: Wine it it's there. Some sort of gin or vodka if it's not.
Post: Beer if it's football/hockey season. G&T if not.
Late night: Bourbon or Irish whiskey on the rocks.

During: Mainly wine (Shiraz, Merlot, Malbec)
After: Tawny Port, Scotch or Brandy
