Anyone know of a great Breakfast Burrito in San Diego, at a place that is open at 4:00am on a Saturday?

I hear ya! I'm in Solana Beach, my girl in CV. It sucks here when I get late night cravings. It's either McD's or Jack in the box or Carls Junior. Encinitas is the closest 24hr mex shop to the north, Mira Mesa to the south.

There are plenty of 24 hour taco shops.

Really need to know where in this *large* (~4200 square miles) county you will be.

Where specifically are you looking? (P.B., La Jolla, Clairemont, Downtown)?

Ha ha...I know what you mean....I moved about a year ago from 24 hour burrito central (P.B.) over to La Jolla Colony/ UTC. I am extatic that the burrito shop near my house is even open until 11.
I would not highly recommend them for breakfast burrito's either. A breakfast burrito comes with your choice of 2 (yeah...two) of the following, egg's, potato, cheese, meat. Uh...IMHO a breakfast burrito is incomplete without ALL 4.

I am not sure if it is great (but i doubt that at 4am with most likely some alcohol in your blood you will care about culinary details) but Cotixan has multiple location which serve breakfast burritos 24h.
