Scottsdale Restaurant Help for Mom's 60th Birthday Weekend

Hi -- I was hoping you could help me out -- am looking for some suggestions for dinner (and brunch) for a 5 day trip with my mom to Scottsdale -- we are staying at the Four Seasons, which I have heard is a bit out of the way in terms of location -- but was hoping you could recommend some restaurants in a 30 minute radius for dinner and brunch? Something on the nicer side -- but would like a casual choice or two as well. Just a girls trip so would like something fun but not too loud! THANKS!

Thanks so much for your suggestions! Any others would be great -- but this definitely has me off to a good start :) Sounds like brunch at T Cook's is a must and I will check out the Kierland Commons for shopping and eats. Thanks.

You are quite a bit North.

In Cave Creek Binkley's is one of the top three foodie places in the Valley in my opinion. Also their casual place Bink's is great, in Carefree.

Have enjoyed great meals and service at Spotted Horse, close to your resort.

You might want to head to Kierland commons, nice shopping and good eats. Favorite is "Zinc Bistro", Greene House is also there and nice casual place. North is next door to Greene House, good meals there also.

Agree with Zinc. Just had dinner there with both my mom and mom-in-law, and both can't stop raving about it. (will be providing details in separate thread devoted to this subject at first opportunity). Zinc is also great for lunch, with outdoor seating that should be getting more tolerable about now. Good shopping break.

Must say my experiences at North and Greene House were just ok. Both are owned by the same company. Good food, but poor service and a I think bit overpriced for what you get.

Right by the Four Seasons is Sassi, an Italian restaurant. A solid choice, though it is pricey. Good wine list. They have a good happy hour special right now.

Brunch at T Cook's which is at Royal Palms Resort on Scottsdale Rd in PHX, but near Scottsdale. Excellent food, service and decor.

Just had dinner at T.Cook's last weekend and it was out of this world..
Brunch at Lon's at the Hermosa is lovely too...prefer to order off the menu.

              T. Cook's is a great choice for brunch. To clarify its location, the Royal Palms is located on Camelback Road, not Scottsdale Road.

Thanks for the correction on street, don't know what I was thinking!
