Lobster Rolls in Brooklyn [moved from Manhattan board]
On Sunday the pharmacy at the corner of Henry and Sackett was selling lobster rolls for $8. (it's not really a pharmacy, but i'm not sure what it is these days)
Anyway, the guy selling had made the lobster salad himself and claimed the lettuce on the side was organic etc etc (I don't care that much about that kind of thing)
hot dog bun could have been better quality (or toasted and buttered) but the lobster was fresh and sweet and copious.
don't know if it's an every week thing or what. I would go back for another.
FAIRWAY CAFE in Red Hook has an excellent Lobster Roll Platter. Toasted roll overflowing with fresh Lobster salad served with their excellent Cole Slaw and Chips... a delicious bargain at. $9.99 . Gorgeous view included. Watch the sun set over the harbor and the Statue od Liberty. and enjoy your Lobster Roll .
