I had a falafel there today as Al-Farooq mosque was letting out. It hit the spot for me - pita was nice and thick - not stale at all, veggies were fresh, and the sauce engendered a certain tang.
Perhaps it is improving? It's name is Halal Paradise, and the address painted on the side gives its coordinates as Union Ave.

Yes I have. I had a Lamb Gyro. The pita wasn't really that good. A bit stale. The cukes, tomatoes and lettuce was very fresh. The meat wasnt that great. I noticed they switch guys behind the counter often. The best gyro I have had in Brk so far, Caroll Classic Garden DIner. Awsome.

re: Piso
We stopped by last week around 8 PM. Had the combo plate and the chicken tikka. This is OK, not great food. The chicken was well marinated and not too dry. The lamb chop in the comb plate was very dry. Was convenient for us last night as well being somewhat hungry at (;00 PM, but we weren't inspired to try it again so soon. Pretty fancy new truck though.
