We just returned from a vacation in Colombia and am craving some of the foods we tried. Does anyone know of a grocery store in San Francisco where we can buy arequipe & obleas and coffee candy? Thanks so much!

You can try Casa Lucas Market 2934 24th Street. I go to the one in Hayward and they do carry quite a few Colombian and Salvadorean items. Or there are some online websites too, but you said San Francisco area.

A number of Latin/Mexican markets in the East Bay carry Colombian items including arequipe, pan de yuca, chorizos santandereanos, arepa flour, titote and other items. Mercado Mi Pueblo comes to mind (several locations). I am not certain about which places in San Francisco may offer the same.

Evergreen Supermarket, 2539 Mission, and Delicias Latinas, 3127, have some Colombian stuff.

Delicias Latinas is soooo closed and gone. I wanted to stop by a few months ago and what is there now is either some sort of parole or drug rehab place.
